BIOGRAPHY
Chiara Romanelli

Chiara Romanelli is a concert pianist, teacher, and music communicator. After graduating in Piano with highest honors, she further developed her pedagogical expertise by earning a Degree in Music Education from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, with an experimental thesis focusing on the relationship between music and disability.
She continued her advanced piano studies under the guidance of internationally renowned teachers, including Peter Lang, Lev Naumov, Riccardo Risaliti, Boris Bloch, and Maria Golia.
Winner of more than forty First Prizes in national and international piano competitions, she maintains an active concert career as both a soloist and chamber musician, performing for prestigious institutions and concert venues. Her repertoire focuses particularly on early Classicism and the early 20th century, with special attention to rediscovering lesser-performed works of the piano literature.
Alongside her performing career, she has developed extensive experience in music education, with a particular focus on the artistic and interpretative development of young musicians.
Since 2010, she has been the Founder and Director of PianoStudio Torino, an atelier specializing in piano education. Her teaching approach combines technical rigor, sound research, interpretative awareness, and the development of each student’s individual potential, with particular attention to building the performer’s musical identity.
Under her guidance, numerous young pianists have received awards in national and international competitions and subsequently pursued professional careers in the performing arts.
